ALLEVYN wound dressings feature a Reactic film which responds to varying exudate levels, while the Hyrdocellular foam absorbs the exudate vertically into the absorbent foam, locking it in until it evaporates. To support this feature, the wound contact layer wicks fluids vertically into the absorbent foam. As an added bonus, the wound contact layer will not stick to skin or the wound, eliminating pain to the patient or trauma to the wound upon dressing removal.
