How do I determine proper size?

  1. Measure the calf circumference at greatest portion
  2. Measure the distance from the bend of knee to the bottom of heel to determine length. (If possible, measure length in standing position).

Use the chart below to determine the correct size based on measurements

Size Calf Circumference Regular Length Long Length
Small less than 12" less than 16" greater than 16"
Medium 12" - 15" less than 17" greater than 17"
Large 15" - 17 ½" less than 18" greater than 18"
X-Large 17½" - 20" less than 18" greater than 18"

Stockings are not recommended for patients with the following:

  1. Any local leg condition in which stockings would interfere, such as dermatitis, immediate post operative vein ligation, gangrene or recent skin graft
  2. Severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease
  3. Massive edema (swelling) of legs or pulmonary edema from congestive heart failure

Precautions:

  1. Do not allow your stocking to roll down as this may cause constriction and impede your blood flow
  2. Do not turn down the top of the stocking
  3. Do not cover any portion of the knee

Washing and Drying Instructions:

  1. May be washed in commercial washers with other“light” goods. Water temperature should notexceed 160˚F (71˚C). Avoid excessive bleach
