Smith & Nephew Allevyn Sacrum dressing is a adhesive foam pad that is anatomically shaped made to fit the sacral area and provide enhanced pressure ulcer management on open wound sores. Allevyn Adhesive Sacrum dressing works best on light to heavy levels of exudate (wound fluid) and absorbs up to four times more exudate than hydrocollids. The wound contact layer of Allevyn Sacrum is coated with a low allergy adhesive which is made to adhere well to intact skin, but not to wounds. The adhesive has a proven low risk of skin irritation does not conatin any latex proteins.
