Next, simply lance the finger to draw blood and apply the sample and receive the result. Along with the blood glucose test strips is a calibration code chip that is used to calibrate the Assure 4 meter before taking the next glucose reading. The Arkray Assure 4 meter is the newest version of the Assure series meters and has the fastest results yet, only 10 second readings. The Assure 4 blood glucose monitoring system only needs a small 1.5uL sample of blood to receive an accurate reading. The meter can recall up to 50 of the previous reading to compare blood sugar levels.
