After applying your blood to the strip, the strip actually draws in your blood sample in so that it can react with the enzyme that is on the strip to produce a current that your meter turns into a blood glucose level reading. This system is blood glucose testing at its finest. The strip is easily inserted into the top of the meter, which can be safely ejected by using the strip eject button for safe handling either at home or in a busy healthcare facility.
