This patented filter system allows the healthcare professional to easily identify gastric secretions in the vent lumen and alerts the clinician so they can quickly take care of the patient. The 2-way filter allows gases to escape and ambient air to come in for effective sumping. This nasogastric tubing also provides protection to the staff by keeping the secretions that clogg the tube contained and preventing it from coming in contact with the clinician.
