Bard Nasogastric Sump Tube (NG Tube) is nasal feeding tube that is inserted through the nose into the stomach. Designed to effectively help suction fluid and air from the stomach without damaging the gastric mucosa within the patient. This dual-lumen tube is x-ray opaque for easy identification on films and is available in 4 sizes for your convenience.

The Nasogastric tube has many uses including suctioning harmful substances from the stomach, or delivering vital nutrients directly to the stomach for a patient who cannot eat or drink by mouth. It needs to be flexible, durable and easy to spot on an x-ray so that you can detect it’s position before using it on your patient. Bard Medical’s nasogastric tubing is each of those things and more.  Because it is a two-lumen tube, it can be used for continuous suction reducing the frequency of stomach contents being drawn up into the entire lumen in the patient’s stomach.
