Invacare Full Electric Bariatric hospital bed is a quiet, smooth operating bed that can support up to 600 pounds and is made with special heavy-duty webbing frame to provide added strength and support. Two locking caster keep locked in place and prevent shifting went exiting the bed. This electric bed has two motors to support the larger weight. One motor elevates the head section and the other adjusts the foot section. The bariatric bed package from Invacare includes a pair of half side rails, 6 function bed pendant, head and foot Boards and an 80 x 42" wide bariatric foam mattress.  The overall length of this bed when assembled is approximately 96".

Answer - Yes, The BAR750 Bariatric bed can hold a patient up to 750 pounds.

Do I have to assemble this bed?

Answer - Yes, It is shipped in two sections (head and foot sections). It should go together in 10 to 15 minutes or less.

Do I need special tools to assemble it?

Answer - No, Everything one this bed snaps together and is designed to be maintenance free. The motor has an easy-release mount bracket that allows for quick removal.

If the power goes out and the bed is stuck in the upright position, how do I get it down?

Answer - All bariatric beds from Invacare come with an emergency hand crank that is located under the foot board section of the bed.

Does this bariatric bed have any kind of warranty?

Answer - Yes, Invacare is very good about any problems with any of there products, especially beds. There is a 5 year warranty on the complete frame, structure and all welds on the bed. Also a full 3 year warranty on mechanical and electrical bed part components, including the motors.

Is the bed motors loud and will they wake the patient up if they are sleeping?

Answer - No, Invacare has over 25 years of perfecting their hospital bed motors and they are proud of how smooth and quiet all the beds operate.

If something should break after the warranty, can I still get parts?

Answer - Yes, Anything on the bed can be replaced, from a simple screw to the motors. Invacare does not change the design of there beds very often and I they do the parts are always interchangeable with previous models.
