Hibiclens antiseptic skin cleanser provides a powerful defense against the spread of MRSA and other staph infections. Hibiclens kills MRSA, Avian flu, C. diff (in its vegetative state), VRE, and other pathogens that are common causes of infection and diseases.
Hibiclens bonds to skin and provides a persistent antimicrobial germ-killing activity for up to 6 full hours.

I have very sensitive skin, so when my dermatologist suggested Hibiclens be added to my daily routine in hopes of eliminating a persistent staph infection, I was concerned that it might actually do more harm than good.
However, my face actually felt better after cleaning it withHibiclens.
Since I already washed my face with a small amount of Johnson & Johnson Clear and Clean Face Scrub for Sensitive Skin, the doctor suggested I add just a drop or two of Hibiclens to the face scrub before washing my face. He also prescribed antibiotics, so I'm unsure if the Hibiclens killed the infection all by itself, but the infection definitely went away.
Since we live out in the country, I'm very careful to use only a drop or two at a time so that it doesn't ruin the health of our septic system. Because of the septic system, I probably ought to only use this product when there is an active infection that needs fighting.
