NexTemp disposable thermometers are a latex free, soft flexible thermometer that is used for oral use. NexTemp thermometer is designed for one-time use and reads pediatric and adult temperatures in less than 60 seconds while eliminating the risk of patient cross-infection or exposure to mercury. NexTemp thermometers are an individually wrapped disposable medical thermometer designed to reduce the risk of cross infection or reinjection that could occur with other thermometer systems. Simply use once and discard in the trash can. NexTemp thermometers are less expensive than any other type of thermometer and require no special storage conditions, batteries, covers or recalibration processes, just use and through away. NexTemp thermometers are easier to use and read compared to predecessor dot-matrix thermometers. NexTemp thermometers replace dangerous glass/mercury, digital electronic and tympanic thermometers. NexTemp thermometers and packaging contain no latex and are non-toxic. They conform to ASTM E1299-96 safety requirements. NexTemp color-change thermometers have been proven under strict clinical conditions and meet stringent ASTM accuracy requirements.
