Invacare Semi Electric Hospital Bed is a multi-functional electric bed made with a solid steel frame and 5" caster wheels. The semi-electric bed has a powdered adjustable deck that lifts the upper body and positions the knees and legs. The easy-to-operate 6-funtion bed pendant hand control adjusts the beds positions safely and quietly with the push of a button. The head and foot boards are constructed of a scratch-resistant, high-impact molded plastic with an attractive wood grain pattern. The motor is powered with DC low voltage motor system that is faster and lighter than most hospital beds.

What is the difference between a Semi-Electric hospital bed and a Full-Electric bed?

A semi-electric hospital bed has all the same upper body and lower body adjustable settings, but the only difference is that the full electric beds frame lowers and raises the height of the entire bed frame closer to the floor. This is an added benefit for patients that fall or roll out of bed and can injury themselves.
