Skil-Care Lateral Positioning Cushion is a wheelchair cushion used to correct posture and prevent left or right leaning. This cushion is comprised of 3 layers. The strong base provides optimal weight and pressure distribution that eliminates sling-seat hammocking. The high-density foam is the core which adds comfort and prevents bottoming out. Temperatue sensitive foam sits on top to mold to the user and reduce pressure spots. The Skil-Care Lateral Positioning Cushion is angled on one side and raises one leg higher to control the lateral stability. Because the safety straps are placed in the middle, this lateral positioning cushion is versatile and can be used for a left or right leaning user.
