What are some disadvantages when using Steri Strips?

Answer - Steri Strip Skin closures should not be used on skin blisters, shearing skin and infected wounds. Steri strips loss there adhesion when used on exudating wounds, oily skin, moisture and hair and are unable to stick to the wound site.

Can Steri-Strips be used with sutures?

Answer - Yes, Steri Strips can be applied after sutures or skin staples are removed from supporting the wound.
