What are the three layers of the system

Layer 1: Non-woven padding material that aborbs exudate (wound fluid) and provides protection.
Layer 2: Adds extra absorbency and smooths out the first layer, while prolonging the elasticity of all three bandages.
Layer 3: Applies the systems compression and keep the three bandage system in place for a full week.

Warnings:

If the patient feels pain in the foot or toes, or cool, numb toes, the bandage should be removed immediately.

Thin, bony legs with a prominent calf bone should be protected with an extra layer of the first bandage for extra padding (Layer 1). The pressure under the bandage could bruise or harm unprotected or unpadded skin especially over bony parts of the leg.
