Invacare XPO 2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator is used by patients with respiratory disorders who require supplemental oxygen. The XPO2 portable concentrator uses a special molecular sieve and pressure swing adsorption methodology to produce the gas oxygen output. This special technology produces 87 to 95.6% pure oxygen. When the demand for oxygen is detected, the oxygen is delivered through a pulsed flow setting that can be adjusted from 1 to 5 liters per minute. The XPO2 is small and compact and can be used at home or work, in a car or plane. Extra Supplement battery sold separately. Stationary back pack comes included.

Are there and air filters on the XPO2?

Answer - Yes, air enters the XPO2 through an air intake filter located under the cover on the front of the unit. This filter prevents hair and other large particles in the air from entering the unit. Before you operate the XPO2 concentrator make sure this filter is clean, dry and positioned properly.

Can I use the XPO2 Concentrator while it is plugged in?

Answer - Yes, you can use the DC power adapter will allow the XPO2 to be operated and simultaneously recharge the internal battery. This DC power adapter can also be used to recharge the extra battery pack.

Answer - When you first receive the XPO2 portable concentrator charge the battery for at least 12 hours before first using. This will prolong there life of the battery. If a battery in half used and then not needed, recharge the battery on down time to maximize it use.

If I leave the internal and supplemental extra completely dead for a while will this harm them?

Answer - Yes, Your XPO2 batteries can be charged at any time. You should try to recharge the batteries as soon as possible after they become fully discharged. The batteries may be permanently degraded if left fully discharged for an extended length of time.

Do I have to store the batteries in certain room conditions?

Answer - Yes, Make sure the batteries are not left in excessive heat or cold like in care trunks or outside for extended periods of time as this can damage the batteries.
