Interdry Ag Skin Fold Dressing 10" x 12 Foot Roll
Interdry ag is a moisture-wicking fabric with antimicrobial silver complex that effectively manages complications associated with inflammation in skin folds called intertrigo.
Intertrigo (intertriginous dermatitis) is an inflammatory condition of skin folds, induced or aggravated by heat, moisture, maceration, friction, and lack of air circulation.
How it Works
InterDry® is a skin protectant for the management of skin folds and other skin-to-skin contact areas. It reduces microbial colonization in the fabric. This single-use fabric provides moisture translocation to keep skin dry while the antimicrobial in the fabric reduces odor. The safe use of InterDry fabric during pregnancy, lactation and on children has not been demonstrated. Although many patients benefit from the use of this device, results may vary. Discuss the treatment options with your physician to understand the risks and benefits to determine if InterDry is right for you.
What is intertrigo?
Intertrigo is a very common inflammatory condition affecting areas of skin that are characteristically in contact with each other, such as the groin, armpits, under the breasts, and skin folds. These areas of skin that are in contact with each other are referred to as the intertriginous zones. In bariatric individuals, skin folds may occur in a variety of other areas and so can be affected by intertrigo.

Interdry fabric is not a wound dressing and should not be placed directly onto an open wound. Should not be used by people with a known sensitivity to silver.
May cause transient skin staining. Excessive absorption of silver into the body may cause the skin to obtain a blue-grey appearance (Argyria). The safe demonstrated. May not be used to protect against urine and feces. If such soiling occurs, the fabric must be changed immediately. Creams or ointments used in conjunction with Interdry ag fabric may reduce the efficacy of the product. In vitro studies with this product have been shown to cause mild biological reactivity.
