Why is a Ulnar Deviation Splint needed?
One common injury among adults is Boxer’s fracture (a.k.a Brawler’s fracture). This is when the ring and/or the pinky finger knuckles are fractured. When a bone is broken the doctor needs to stabilize the area above and below the brake for proper alignment and support of the area. The Rolyn Soft Hand-based Ulnar Deviation Insert is perfect because it can support the hand area directly while comfortably fitting alongside a wrist brace. It is fully-adjustable for ease of use and comfort, hand-washable for convenience and latex-free for those patients with latex sensitivities.
