The Aloe Vesta Antifungal Ointment cures most superficial fungal infections with 2 percent miconazole nitrate in a petrolatum base. The petrolatum, which forms an occlusive barrier, repels moisture and softens affected skin while it relieves itching, scaling, cracking, and discomfort. When the skin's moisture barier is lost, an increase in normal bacterial flora and pathogenic bacteria or fungi occurs.
