Allevyn Thin polyurethane dressings are a sterile, absorbent foam dressings with mild, low-tac adhesive layer and a semipermeable polyurethane film top layer. It maintains a moist environment and helps prevent bacterial contamination. The dressing absorbs well under compression, conform well in areas that are awkward to dress, and absorb up to four times more than a hydrocolloid dressing of similar size.
