NEW Bionix Products and Updates

Mountainside Medical is a proud distributor of the Bionix line of products. Bionix products are forward thinking innovations designed to make procedures more comfortable, effective, and stress-free for patients. Effective immediately, we have some product updates to notify you about and some great new products that have just been presented by this company.

Recently, there have been some great updates to the Bionix OtoClear Ear Irrigation Tips. OtoClear tips can be purchased individually, or in one of the OtoClear Ear Irrigation Kits we offer. The irrigation tips have had a material change – they are now soft and flexible and offer the new Bionix “Gentle Touch” design. This upgrade will now make ear irrigation a more comfortable experience for the patient, and it offers less potential for ear canal damage.

There have also been changes made to the Bionix Safe Straw. This useful tool assists users who suffer from disphagia and other swallowing difficulties, by limiting the amount that can be drawn at one time in order to prevent choking. These handy straws were at one time a pricey disposable item. However, the new redesign has made them significantly more cost-effective as they are now reusable! The Bionix Safe Straw now features a design that is easy to take apart and clean.

We also have added a couple new products by the Bionix brand including the Bionix ShotBlocker and the unique Bionix Lighted Suction for Cerumen Removal (Kit).

The new Bionix ShotBlocker is a handy little tool that will reduce stress and anxiety for patients receiving injections. The ShotBlocker has multiple contact points that will provide pressure to several areas of the skin at the same time you give the shot, helping the needle stick to feel less significant to the patient.

The Bionix Lighted Suction for Cerumen Removal is a great new kit that packages a curette light source, a magnification lens and 25 lighted suction handles. A great alternative to standard ear curettage procedures, the illuminated tool increases visualization into the ear canal making the process more efficient and easier to perform. For use with the kit, Bionix also offers a suction pump and proper tubing for this procedure.
