Mountainside Medical Equipment Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Mountainside Medical Equipment Inc. is excited to announce its 10 Year Anniversary. We are so proud to have been providing quality medical supplies at affordable prices for a decade, and cannot wait to see where else our journey will take us.

Our humble beginnings started in 2002, in a small apartment. We originally provided product procurement for nursing facilities in the local Utica, New York area. Having had previous experience in the medical products field, we were on top of the latest and most effective products to create efficiency in facilities and effectiveness in patient care when we started.

Within a short time, we had to move to a larger building in order to become more efficient ourselves. We took up shop in an old manor home on Genesee Street in Utica, owned by Heritage Health Care Center - one of our first clients who we still serve today. With the new added space provided by the building, we were able to service more clients and expand our product lines.

In 2006 we added a website to our business, to begin offering private customers the ability to take advantage of our low prices online. Our website featured, as it still does today, descriptions and low pricing for any item that we had previously only sold in person to facilities. This was a huge milestone for our business and has allowed us to reach customers throughout the world including Germany, Denmark, Australia, Poland, Italy, and many more.

In 2007 we moved again, this time to a newly constructed warehouse/office building. Here, we had the space we needed to maintain our presence as facility wholesale distributors and expand our product line even more to accommodate our online customers’ growing needs. Currently, we are settled here in the town of Marcy, NY where we are also members of the Marcy Chamber of Commerce.

We are looking forward to celebrating another 10 years in business (and many more!) and are excited to see how else we can expand and continue to offer high quality medical products that meet the needs of consumers across the globe. This year, we will be opening our first medical supply outlet store at our Marcy location. This has long since been a goal of ours and we are thrilled to offer our local community a place to purchase quality care products – stay tuned for updates on our retail store!
