Mountainside Attends NDC Conference - KAPOW!

Mountainside Medical Equipment was excited to attend the annual NDC conference in Nashville, Tennessee this year. Over very own Christina (Operations Manager) and Rory (Warehouse Manager) represented Mountainside Medical and got to mingle with some great companies and finally got to put a faces with some of the voices they speak with over the phone everyday.

During the three days at the conference, Christina and Rory were able to meet with other NDC members, as well as sales reps from many nationally known companies in the healthcare industry, including Smith & Nephew, PDI, Amsino and more. Everyone got to compare, converse and share tips about their companies and new products.

This year’s NDC theme was KAPOW! Christina and Rory found this theme fun, especially when the vendor reps dressed up for the cocktail hour and dinner as super heroes - everything is always more fun in costume, and this rang especially true for the show!

It was a busy three days at the conference. Monday was full of meetings with vendors participating in the Premier Contract Buying Group, as well as the costume wearing cocktail hour. Tuesday, Christina and Rory enjoyed listening to Dr. Jeanne Liedtka, the keynote speaker, who was very informative; they attended the Awards luncheon for customer and vendor growth, and went to educational classes which included the Metric-Centric Warehouse and Growing Business in Existing Accounts: Leveraging Field Relationships. These events were followed by the KAPOW-Wow Mixer and Dinner, which provided great drinks, great fun and great company!

For the last day, Wednesday, Christina and Rory strolled around the Fantastic Floor show where all the NDC members had a booth, got to mingle with some great people and make new friends. After the floor show came the Private Closing Party at the Wildhorse Saloon with a great country theme and country music artist Chris Young.

Needless to say, this year’s NDC conference was a huge success and entertained our Christina and Rory here at Mountainside Medical Equipment. Christina was thrilled about seeing, hearing and experiencing all the event had to offer. She enjoyed learning about new products, and was above and beyond excited about the new relationships she was able to build at this year’s NDC conference.
