No-Shave November is Back!

With Halloween over and the holiday’s right around the corner, it is officially here – No-Shave November that is! Whether you like to call it “Noshember” or “Movember” it is all a unique way of showing support for men’s health awareness and raising money for a variety of causes.

While the origins of No-Shave November are a little debatable (some pay homage to Plato, while others like to blame those lazy college kids with poor grooming habits) one thing is definitely certain:  No-Shave November has caught on in a big way.

Movember encourages men to join the movement against cancer by growing a moustache or beard for 30-days during the month of November. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing your scruff – which many cancer patients lose – and just let it grow wild! Then, donate the money you would normally spend on hair removal and upkeep to cancer research!

Don’t worry ladies, Movember isn’t just for Mo Bros, it’s for Mo Sistas too! Mo Sistas are an important part of No-Shave November. Mo Sistas raise awareness for the cause and encourage all the men in their lives to get involved. Essentially, the Mo Sistas do everything that the Mo Bros do, just without the Mo…or beard.
