Meet Mountainside’s Matt Altieri

Helping to save countless lives by preventing potentially deadly opioid drug overdoses, Mountainside Medical Equipment is a proud distributor of the Naloxone Life-Saving Kits. These kits, which are assembled right here in our upstate NY warehouse, are distributed to hospitals, emergency first-responders, and law enforcement officers all across the country. One of the key players making sure that these packages are assembled correctly and sent out on time is Mountainside’s Matt Altieri.

When it comes to working hard and being punctual, Mountainside’s Matt Altieri is one of the first employees to come to mind for Co-owner and President Marty Zarnock Sr. According to Marty, “Matt’s high performance and attention to detail help make sure that our kits (like the Naloxone Kits and Denture Marking Kits) are assembled correctly and get out of our warehouse on time. Mountainside is lucky to have Matt as a part of our hardworking team.”

Matt is a 2007 graduate of the College Works program; which is a collage-based vocational program for individuals with disabilities, hosted by the Oneida Lewis Chapter of the ARC and Mohawk Valley Community College. Matt has been with Mountainside for just about 5 years now and continues to display high quality work. In addition to being an integral part of assembling our Naloxone and Denture Marking Kits, some of Matt’s other responsibilities here at Mountainside include processing invoices, helping to maintain the warehouse and packaging medical supplies, and preparing the private label oxygen cannulas that we ship to various hospitals.
