Mountainside Medical Equipment Donates Hand Sanitizer to Local Organizations

Marcy, N.Y. – Disinfectant products have become increasingly difficult to find as the COVID-19 pandemic has worn on, with hand sanitizer one of the most sought-after items by service, rescue, and law enforcement organizations. Mountainside Medical Equipment has responded to this challenge by donating cases of hand sanitizer to multiple local organizations and government departments.

Donating Hand Sanitizer to Local Law Enforcement

Among the organizations that have received donations of hand sanitizer is the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, who stopped by on Friday, May 22nd to pick up multiple cases of sanitizer. Numerous fire departments have been given up to five cases of sanitizer, including the Maynard Fire Department of Marcy, New York, as well as departments in Utica, Deansboro, Yorkville, and New York Mills. Each case contains 48 bottles of 4 oz Hand to Hand Instant Hand Sanitizer.

“We know firsthand how difficult it is to get supplies right now, which is why we want to support our community, hospitals and anyone else that we can reach,” said Marty Zarnock Jr., owner and founder of Mountainside Medical Equipment. "Now more than ever it is so important for us to stand together and do what we can to help each other get through this difficult time."

Mountainside Medical Equipment’s Hand to Hand Instant Hand Sanitizer is manufactured locally in conjunction with the Adirondack Distilling Company. These sanitizers follow all guidelines that have been issued by the CDC to ensure that the alcohol content is high enough to kill germs and safe to use.

Mountainside Medical Equipment continues to reach out to organizations with offers of hand sanitizer donations. If your service, rescue, or law enforcement organization is interested in our hand sanitizer, please call us at 1-888-687-4334!
