Ketoconazole Shampoo 2% is an effective antifungal treatment for conditions caused by yeast and fungus. It works by eliminating the fungi on the surface of the skin, leaving the underlying skin unharmed. When used regularly, it helps to reduce scalp itching, flaking, redness and irritation. It also provides relief from dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. For maximum benefit, Ketoconazole Shampoo 2% should be used twice a week. Wet the hair and massage the shampoo into the scalp and leave it on for about five minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water. If these instructions are followed, Ketoconazole Shampoo 2% can be used to treat a variety of scalp conditions caused by yeast and fungus.
