Nearly perfect

Excellent build, really sharp, high quality. The plastic tip is a little thick, forcing one to press down on the patient's skin to get the tip under the dressing, but turning it 90 degrees to one side makes this a little easier. The clips hold well, but are not the most durable, nor is the coiled cord; treat them gently, and they will likely last a long time. Treat them harshly, and you will have to buy them again. This is a common trait of many things from Japan, where professionals always treat their equipment with a kindness and respect bordering on fetishism, but when they do, their equipment can and does last for decades.

The Canary scissors, also from Japan, have a much better point, but don't have a clip and recoiling cord, which is why mine were lost. If these came with the Canary point, they would be 5/5 Stars, no question.

Still, if you get them, you will not be disappointed in their sharpness or build quality, since both are excellent.
