Compression bandages are used to wrap an injury or wound in order to provide pressure and support. Compression bandages are commonly used for sprains, strains, and other injuries that require compression to reduce swelling, control bleeding, or limit movement. Compression bandages are also used in the treatment of chronic conditions such as venous ulcers and lymphedema to decrease swelling and improve circulation. They can also be used after surgery to support the surgical area and promote healing.
