Nellcor Easy Cap Colorimetric CO2 Detector is designed for use on both adult and pediatric patients. The detector is simple to use with a one-button operation that provides a numerical CO2 display and a color-changing CO2 indicator. Green means normal CO2 and colors will change as CO2 levels increase.
With the Nellcor™ adult/pediatric colorimetric CO2 detector clinicians can confirm proper endotracheal tube (ETT) placement by assessing exhaled CO2.
The detector attaches directly to the endotracheal tube and responds quickly to exhaled CO2 by changing from purple to yellow.
