Veinlite LED is a unique and versatile product, which allows for the simple and easy location of veins. With this tool, needle sticks for IV starts and blood draws, are more efficient and provide less stress and pain to the patient. Veinlite LED offers a special, patented side-transillumination technique which is responsible for Veinlite’s ability to locate veins anywhere in the body. Produced is a bright, concentrated light, focused in the center of the ring, which illuminates superficial tissues inside the ringed area. The 24 Led lights come in 2 different colors – half the lights are a high-contrast orange, while the others are a deep red. The lights can be used together or individually. If used individually, each color allows for maximum versatility and accurate use on patients of all ages and skin tones. This unique vein finding tool runs on 2 “AA” alkaline batteries for easy, portable use throughout hospitals, clinics, or physicians’ offices.

The unit locates veins easily through a simple lighting process. De-oxygenated blood in the veins absorbs the light emitted by the illuminated ring. This process allows the vein walls to appear as dark lines within the skin, making the practitioner’s job simple. Needle insertion is made even easier by adding a little pressure to the unit. By pressing down gently, the skin and vein will stretch and swell, allowing for enhanced accuracy and easy insertion.
