Pepcid

Pepcid (famotidine) is a medication used to treat conditions such as gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and certain types of acid reflux. It works by reducing the production of stomach acid, providing relief from symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, and irritation of the esophagus. It can also be used to prevent stomach ulcers in people taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
