Pfizer Atropine Sulfate Injection 1mg/10mL Abboject Prefilled Glass Syringe 10mL contains atropine sulfate, an anticholinergic agent that inhibits the action of acetylcholine at autonomic effector endings. Atropine sulfate also has parasympatholytic and direct mydriatic effects. Administration of atropine sulfate injection reduces salivation and produces a miotic effect. It is indicated for use as an adjunct to general anesthesia, to reduce the amount of salivation and to keep the airway patency during surgery. Atropine sulfate injection is also used to control bradycardia, hypersalivation, and excessive secretions during surgery.
