Nasal Cannulas

A nasal cannula is a oxygen delivery system used to send concentration levels of oxygen  less than 40% though a plastic cannula in the patient's nostrils. A patient needs oxygen therapy when hypoxemia (lack of oxygen) results from respiratory or cardiac emergency or an increase in metabolic function.
