Operating the Jamar Hand Dynamometer

1. -  Set the adjustable handle to the correct position
2. -  Rotate the peak-hold needle counter-clockwise to 0
3. -  Squeeze with maximum strength
4. -  Record the reading and reset the peak-hold needle to 0

Jamar Hand Dynamometer Care and Service

Posts

1. Remove the adjustable handle and check for free movement of the posts.
2. Grease the two guides at least once per year

2. Push on the bottom post while watching the top post, both should move about 1/8 inch in opposite directions
