Adrenalin Epinephrine Injection (1:1000) 1 mg Single-Dose Vials - EACH (Rx)

How to Order:
Adrenalin (or epinephrine) injection is used to treat severe allergic reactions (also known as anaphylaxis), asthma attacks, cardiac arrest, and low blood pressure. It works by constricting blood vessels, relaxing the muscles in the airways, and increasing heart rate and blood pressure. This helps to counteract the life-threatening symptoms of an allergic reaction or other emergency situation. Adrenalin injection is typically given by a medical professional in a hospital or emergency setting, but can also be self-administered by individuals who have severe allergies or other conditions that require immediate treatment.
Adrenalin (epinephrine) for injection is a hormone that is produced by the adrenal gland. It is released into the blood when the body is stressed. Adrenalin speeds up the heart rate and raises blood pressure. It also opens up the air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. Adrenalin Epinephrine Injection 1mg (1:1000) Vial by JHP Pharmaceuticals is a sterile, single-dose vial used for emergency treatment of allergic reactions. Adrenalin (epinephrine injection, USP) is a clear, colorless, sterile solution containing 1 mg/mL (1:1000) epinephrine, packaged as 1 mL of solution in a single-use clear glass vial.
In the 1 mL vial, each 1 mL of Adrenalin® solution contains 1 mg epinephrine, 9.0 mg sodium chloride, 1.0 mg sodium metabisulfite, hydrochloric acid to adjust pH, and water for injection.
Adrenalin Epinephrine Injection can help to open up air passages and make breathing easier for people with various lung problems such as severe asthma. It also treats severe allergic reactions and certain heart problems. This medicine is sometimes added to certain types of anesthesia to make them last longer.
