Directions

  1. At the onset of chest pain (angina):
    • Place one tablet under the tongue and allow it to dissolve completely.
    • Do not swallow, chew, or crush the tablet—allow sublingual absorption.
  2. If pain persists after 5 minutes:
    • A second tablet may be used under the tongue, as directed.
    • If pain continues, a third tablet may be used after another 5 minutes.
    • Seek immediate emergency medical help if pain lasts more than 15 minutes or after 3 tablets.
  3. For prevention: A dose may be taken 5–10 minutes before engaging in activities likely to provoke angina, as prescribed.
  4. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking while the tablet is dissolving.

Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Warnings

  • For prescription use only. Use only under medical supervision.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to nitroglycerin or nitrates.
  • Do not use with phosphodiesterase inhibitors (such as sildenafil/Viagra, tadalafil/Cialis, vardenafil/Levitra) due to dangerous drops in blood pressure.
