Sulfamethoxazole

Sulfamethoxazole is an antibiotic medication that is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, ear infections, bronchitis, and traveler's diarrhea. It is also sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat certain types of pneumonia or for preventing certain types of bacterial infections in people with weakened immune systems.
