Face masks are commonly seen throughout medical facilities as a method of protection and infection control. Most face masks are one-time use and are disposable. When the mask becomes soiled, or the user is done wearing it, the face mask should be disposed of properly. Because the purpose of a face mask is to protect one from the germs of others, as a precaution it is generally not advised to share a face mask with someone else.
