The Arkray Assure Platinum Test Strips are specially designed for the Assure Platinum Glucose Meter and utilize glucose oxidase chemistry to obtain results. The Assure Platinum test strips are a no coding strips that does not need to be calibrated before use, this saves time and money. Each strip is made up of a sample application tip, reaction site, and test strip contact bars, requires only 0.5 µL of blood, and comes in a light-protected, moisture-proof bottle. 50 strips per bottle

For a blood glucose level reading you can count on, use the Assure Platinum meter. It has been specifically designed for precision and accuracy right down to the strips. After applying your blood to the strip, the strip actually draws in your blood sample in so that it can react with the enzyme that is on the strip to produce a current that your meter turns into a blood glucose level reading. This system is blood glucose testing at its finest. The strip is easily inserted into the top of the meter, which can be safely ejected by using the strip eject button for safe handling either at home or in a busy healthcare facility. 

Uses: Designed to only work with the Assure Platinum Meter.

How it works:

    • Apply blood sample to the application tip
    • The strip uses capillary action to draw the blood in
    • The blood glucose reacts with the enzyme on the test strip which produces a current proportional to the blood glucose level
    • The meter detects the current and converts it into a blood glucose reading
