How is a Foley Catheter Clap Used?
A catheter is needed when a person cannot control their bladder. It is a tube that is inserted into the bladder and connects to a drainage bag that, depending on the patient’s situation, is strapped to either the patient’s thigh or a hospital bed. Periodically, as the bag is gradually filled with urine, it will have to be emptied.
