Allison Medical 22-6010 Sure Comfort Insulin Syringes are designed for subcutaneous injections of insulin. The syringes have a 30 gauge needle with a length of 5/16 inches and a capacity of 1 mL.
To use the syringe, first make sure your hands are clean and then remove the cap from the needle. Uncap the syringe and pull back the plunger to the desired dose line, filling the syringe with enough insulin for injection. Then gently push the plunger up slightly to expel the air back into the vial. Recap the needle and set the syringe down on a clean surface.
