Description

The Medicated Chest Rub Ointment by Leader, available in a 1.76 oz jar, is designed to provide soothing relief from symptoms associated with the common cold and minor respiratory discomfort. Formulated with active ingredients such as camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus oil, this chest rub works by producing a cooling sensation that helps ease congestion, cough, and muscle aches. The ointment is designed for topical use and can be applied to the chest and throat area for inhalation of vapors or to aching muscles to relieve minor aches and pains.

Active Ingredients:

Camphor (4.7%): This helps to relieve coughs when inhaled and acts as a topical analgesic.
Menthol (2.6%): Provides a cooling effect that eases coughs and minor muscle aches and pains.
Eucalyptus Oil (1.2%): Supports the soothing of the respiratory tract and provides a cooling sensation.

Uses:

  • Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold.
  • Helps with the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints.

Warnings:

  • For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Do not use by mouth, with tight bandages, in nostrils, or on wounds or damaged skin.
  • Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
  • If symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen, consult a doctor.

Directions:

  • Rub a thick layer on the chest and throat or on impacted muscles.
  • Cover with a warm, dry cloth if desired.
  • Keep clothing loose around the throat and chest to allow vapors to reach the nose and mouth.
  • Repeat up to three times daily or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Store in a cool, dry place.
