Calcium Alginate Dressings
Calcium alginate dressings are used for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds. They are made from a natural material derived from seaweed, and when in contact with wound exudate, they form a gel-like substance that helps keep the wound moist and promote healing.
