3M Curos Jet Disinfecting Caps for Needleless Port Connectors CFJ1 Series are single-use, disposable caps designed to disinfect and protect needleless ports on medical devices. They are specifically designed for use on Curos port protectors, which are connected to needleless connectors to protect them from contamination.

3M™ Curos Jet™ Disinfecting Caps are the next-generation solution for needleless connector disinfection. Meeting the high-efficacy standards of all Curos port protectors, Curos Jet disinfecting caps utilize 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to disinfect all critical surfaces of needleless connectors. Consistent use of Curos disinfecting caps on I.V. needleless connectors is associated with decreased CLABSI.
Curos Jet disinfecting caps are dispensed as individual caps or on a convenient five-cap strip which can be hung from I.V. poles for easy access.

Some key features of these disinfecting caps include:

1. Jet Disinfection Technology: The caps use a jet stream to deliver an alcohol-based disinfectant deep into the port, ensuring complete disinfection of the internal components.

2. Seal Check Indicator: Each cap has a seal check indicator that turns blue once activated, providing a visual confirmation of disinfection.

3. Disinfects in 1 minute. Protects ports for up to 7 days if not removed

4. Universal Design: These caps can fit a wide range of needleless ports, making them a versatile option for healthcare facilities.

5. In vitro testing shows effectiveness against the six microorganisms commonly associated with CLABSI: Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida glabrata, and Candida albicans
