The SafetyGlide Syringe by Becton Dickinson, and Company (BD) comes with a 21 gauge detachable needle and measures 1 inch long.
The syringe has a subcutaneous injection needle and a regular wall and bevel. The needle detaches easily, allowing the syringe to be reused several times. The syringe can be used by caretakers, as well as patients who self-administer medicine.
