Germicidal wipes – also commonly known as disinfectant wipes – are disposable cleaning towelettes pre-soaked with a germ-killing solution. In simple terms, these wipes contain chemicals that kill microorganisms (germs) like bacteria and viruses on surfaces when you wipe them down. You simply pull out a wipe, use it on the surface, and then throw it away – no need to rinse or dry in most cases.
