BD Small Sharps Containers, Dual Access 1.5 Quart is easy to transport and small enough to fit in a med cart drawer, 9" x 4.5" x 4" Red base, natural top with dual access. Ideal for avoiding accidental needle stick and keeping syringes and lancets concealed. The BD Phlebotomy collector has a rigid puncture resistant polypropylene shell that protects against exposure to blood borne pathogens.

 BD Sharps Containers are a safe and easy way of concealing used infectious medical needles, syringes, IV Catheter needles, diabetes blood lancets and hypodermic needles from infecting other healthcare workers and spreading diseases like HIV, Aids and hepatitis. OSHA has estimated that one of every seven health care workers are accidentally stuck with a needle each year. From these injured healthcare workers about a 1,000 will develop serious infections such as HIV and the liver-destroying hepatitis C, as well as other diseases.
