Description

The BD 256045 Veritor Plus System Influenza A+B Nasal Swab is a diagnostic test used to detect influenza A and B viruses. It is administered by swabbing the inside of the nostrils or the back of the throat to collect a sample of respiratory secretions. This sample is then tested for the presence of influenza A and B viral antigens, which can indicate an active infection with these viruses. The Veritor Plus System is a rapid diagnostic system that provides results in 15 minutes, allowing for quick and accurate identification of influenza infections. This test is commonly used by healthcare professionals to diagnose and monitor influenza outbreaks in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
