A Cryosurgery Kit like the Verruca-Freeze 50 (VFK50) is essentially a portable dermato‐cryotherapy system used to remove warts and similar skin lesions by freezing them. In practice it is a hand‐held, pressurized canister of refrigerated gas (a proprietary cryogen) that a clinician sprays onto the lesion. The extreme cold (about –70 °C, or –94 °F) destroys the targeted tissue. The spray both freezes and briefly numbs the area, so most procedures take only a few seconds of freezing (typically a 3–6 sec spray and ~20–40 sec ice time) and are reported to be quick, “bloodless, odorless” and essentially self-anesthetizing.

The VFK50 kit is a starter kit intended for clinical use. It contains a 150 mL cryogen canister (enough for roughly 50–60 “freeze” treatments) plus a full set of applicators and accessories. Specifically, each kit includes five reusable, soft‐tipped limiting cones (sizes 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 mm) and 30 disposable foam CryoBud® applicators (10 each of small, medium and large), along with an extender tube, instruction manual and practice pad. (The name “50 Freeze Kit” refers to the approximate number of treatments.) To use it, the physician either seals a cone around the lesion and fires the spray into it, or soaks a CryoBud and presses it onto the lesion, delivering the cryogen directly to the tissue.

In short, Verruca-Freeze VFK50 is a professional dermatology cryotherapy system for in‐office wart and lesion removal. “Verruca” means wart, and indeed this kit was designed for common and plantar warts (verrucae), though it can treat many benign lesions.. Because the cold spray numbs the skin, the treatment is fast (often under 2 minutes per lesion) and causes no bleeding.
