Description

Greenstone Latanoprost Eye Drops 0.005% is a prescription medication used to treat high pressure inside the eye that can lead to a condition called glaucoma. It contains the active ingredient latanoprost which works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eye to reduce pressure. This medication is typically used once a day in the affected eye(s) and must be used consistently to effectively manage the condition. Greenstone Latanoprost Eye Drops 0.005% is a generic version of the brand name medication Xalatan.

Greenstone Latanoprost Eye Drops 0.005% are used to treat glaucoma and high pressure inside the eye. They work by reducing the amount of fluid in the eye, which helps to lower the pressure.

To use the eye drops:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the eye drops.
2. Shake the bottle well before each use.
3. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a pouch.
4. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the prescribed number of drops into the pouch.
5. Close your eyes and gently press on the inner corner of the eye with your finger for 1-2 minutes. This will prevent the medication from draining out of the eye and into the rest of the body.
6. Blot away any excess medication with a clean tissue.
7. If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before applying them.
8. Wash your hands again to remove any medication.
9. Wait at least 15 minutes before using any other eye products, such as contact lenses or eye makeup.
10. Use the eye drops as directed by your doctor, usually once a day in the evening.

If you are using the single-use vials, use a new vial for each dose and discard any remaining solution after use.
